What do you think of my fold?
This was the very first hand of a $30 3-table NL tourney.

Yes.

You've established he has strength of some sort.

He may be a total nut betting 45s, or be making a move with a pp, but probably he has an Ace.

If you were first to act you may have been able to put pressure on him with a bet on the flop to establish what he had and flush out the nonsense. But good fold to my mind.

From my experience, I had a feeling that he may have had A10. Assuming he is not a nut...I re-raised him big, then an A hits on the flop and he bets. Don't you think he would think that I had an A as well?

He could have been hoping for me to reraise. Yet, we will never know!

Very seldom is a fold in the first level a bad laydown. No reason to call this flop. Nice hand.
