I think if you learn that AK isn't the absolute nuts post-flop regardless of the board you'll be doing better than 99% of <NL50 players.

    Very true.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

i will tell you how i play AK in both ring and tournament play.

ring. i play it very aggressively because i either want to pick of the blinds or only have one other player in the pot (two max). then after the flop if any callers i play it the same as any other hand but i can put my opponents on a somewhat of a stong hand also unless i notice that they are bad players. then in that case i hope to out flop them. haha

in tournaments i play it completely different. early in a tournament i will usually just limp with it and sometimes call a small raise depending on position. and then later in the tournament i would play it somewhat over agressive being that it is one of the best starting hands. this aggressiveness doesn't apply to me if i have a dominating chip stack i usually play it normally then.
