Default I've GOT to be missing something.

Ok I am watching poker after dark. Now the entire time I had thought that everyone was playing rather loose. Calling bets with a gutshot, 2 UNDERCARDS, etc.

But this is where I was just like "I've got to be missing something." Its heads up Gavin Smith vs. Phil Ivey. Gavin Smith is dealt 10h6h, and limps. Flop is flop is something like Jh 7x 2h. Phil bets an amount that gives Gavin about 3:1. He calls, which I really don't understand. I guess due to implied odds. The turn is a blank, Gavin checks phil bets again giving Gavin 2.5:1. Then Gavin comments how he does not think Ivey has anything. Yet Gavin calls. The reason I think this is so outrageous is that Gavin only had a flush draw that he was hoping to hit, and the pot was LESS than 4:1. ALSO, Gavin did not think Phil had anything, so there probably not be much more betting after the river.

Of course he hits the flush, welcome to poker. But am I missing something or is Gavin just retarded?
