I should probably put this in the Bad Beat section because I am still a little frustrated.
I am not sure how to handle the limit tourny's on PS. Playing omaha last night, we only got about 30 hands per hour. I only won 3 hands in 2 hours our play, and ended up having to go all-in with some crap had from the BB with hand as the blinds were 400/800 and I only had 1200 chips left.
I tried playing tightly, but I folded a few hands that developed into winners, and go so short stacked I had to make a desperate all-in with a really weak hand and only won enough to keep me alive another level.
It was a very very frustrating expirience - although I have monied in 3 of my last 5 or so, I still don't feel like I have a good grip on the games.

multi-table limit tournies i play loose early on, not crazy loose but fairly loose, espoecially if it's high/low.
i'll gamble with a 5th of my chips if i'm on a loose table, when the blinds hit 50/100 it doesn't matter if i have 750 or 900 chips, but having 1500+ or 900 is a big difference.Read my musings on poker and life at Online Poker Examiner, Poker Examiner, PokerNewsBoy.com, and My Poker Blog

I'm the same way with limit tournies as Steve. Everyone's playing a lot of pots early and no one's raising. You're gonna loose a couple of small pots and lose 20% of your stack, but when you win a pot playing mathematically, you're gonna increase by 50+%.
When the pace changes, you play solid ABC poker and then it get tighter and you play more aggressive with position when your table is tight. I always cash in limit tournies when I'm a table or two before the bubble with 20BB's and have a tight table. Less people are seeing flops and of those hands that are seeing flops, not many hands are seeing the turn.
My approach to limit tournies is to win big pots for little money early and bulid my stack, maintain my stack, and then build it again through aggression. I've never won a limit tourney. I've had about 12-15 final tables and my highest finish was 3rd.
My biggest mistake at final tables in limit tournies is that too many times I raise when I should fold and fold when I should raise.
I generally stay away though. If I play a limit tourney, the field is 150-250 and the reward's worth the risk because I know I'm not very good at them and I have too many problems so I generally stay away.
