    Default Postflop skills

I've got a serious question (since a few days ago my bankroll exceeded $1000 and now i'm a serious player ).
It's a common occurrence that i see the expression "to outplay postflop" at 2+2 and other boards. so what exactly does that mean? to put the opponent on hand and get the maximum value of it, if you think you're ahead & avoid losing much in case you're behind? or something more?
And to your mind, what are the main postflop skills besides hand reading?

    p.s. sorry for possible mistakes

Outplaying your opponent in my opinion is making them make mistakes combined with being able to accurately estimate their range and play optimally against that. This could involve bluffing because you know they are weak or checking to induce a bluff when you have the goods among other scenarios.

    Some main post flop skills:
Continuation betting at the right time
Double barrelling at the right time
    Bet sizing
    Extracting value
Adjusments for number of players and position
Having a plan before you start committing yourself to the pot

This list can go on and on really but there's some ideas

in a nutshell i suppose you could define "outplaying" someone postflop as making them play differently than they would if they could see your cards.

whether that means them bluffing into you when you have monsters, calling down with worse hands without proper odds, folding the best hand etc. links in to what's been said above.

i would say one of the most important things is knowing what you are going to do later on in the hand. before you make a bet you should know how you'll react when called/raised and how the cards on the next street will alter your line. if you bet and then say "i have no idea what to do" when they raise then maybe you shouldn't be betting in the first place.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

poker is a game of mistakes

outplaying your opponent is inducing them to make mistakes, and not making mistakes of your own (your opponent will give you plenty of opportunities to make a mistake)

one of the MOST IMPORTANT aspects of outplaying your opponent that jh missed would be controlling the size of the pot.

google "pot control" or search it on 2p2, its very important

If you get them to fold the best hand, you can also say you out-played them
"People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, they make them." - George Bernard Shaw

I think it was the latest season (4?)

No idea what episode sorry. Basically Gold over reps his hand thinking he has the goods when he is behind. Doyle senses Gold thinks he has an absolute monster and so folds the higher flush.

Later Gold calls it the best bluff ever
