Question Any starting hands youd prefer over A A???

Hi just wondering whether people would prefer other starting hands then A A? I only ask out of curiosity as there hard to get away from and vulnerable in my opinion. Though I know its the best and youd be an idiot not to love it when you get the pocket rockets lol as mike sexton calls them.

Just its a love hate relationship with me haha, anyone have any thoughts on the matter?
They can be your best friend or worst enemy...

Depends on stack, opponants, position, whether you had sex recently, if the moon is full, how many people at the table, whether you know how to play pf, etc. etc. but in general getting AA is a basic hand to play. The trick is knowing how & when to let go post flop depending on pre flop play.

Simple answer, any time I have the opption, I'll take AA over any other hole cards

I have lost with AA, more than I've won with it, about 1:3, I'll still want as much money as I can in preflop and want so see those two cards when I look down. AKs if your only gona raise with the nuts post flop maybe...

As I said in my post above, the trick is knowing when to let go. If you havnt approved by turn/river you still only have 1 pair. Too many people play them like they cant loose then proceed to do just that with bad play.
