Ring game strategy

Lets say you just join a 25NL cash game. first hand you are dealt JJ in the bb. You have no reads on anyone. Someone raises 4x in front of you. What do you do here? what if it was 10 10 or QQ? Thanks

You might want to post this in the "ring game strategy" section...

There is no 100% correct answer to your question, as a lot of it has to do with who's at your table, stack sizes, your image, etc.

But...I like to simply flat call and see the flop with JJ there (assuming we all have full stacks and I dont have any reads). See the flop and then take it from there. Again...this question is hard to answer not knowing anything about your opponents...try posting a hand history in this situation. You'll get better feeback.

full ring it is a call/3bet depending on the position of the raiser

There are too many variables here though
