KQo in the BB
Ok, some of you may recognize this thread, some won't. But I feel its worth a little discussion. And No, I probably won't pull the 6 page FTOP proofs outa my ass again for this.
LIMIT Hold'em SNG. Blinds are 75/150. You have 275 in your stack. 4 people left, 3 pay. Every body has been playing fairly tight, Usually HU on the flop.
This time all 3 people limp before you, you have in the BB.
What do you do?

Flop comes
What do you do? If you can do anything?

How Steve-O described it is how I would probably play it in a cash game, and I'd probably do the same in a tournament.
Although....is the 275 in your stack after you post the BB? You may very well have the best hand here. Surely if one of the players had an A they would have raised preflop.
This is a tough decision, making a bet on the flop would just about put you all in. I'd call the floor and ask for help. Kidding. I don't know, this is tricky. I keep thinking that you may have the best hand.

Correct!
I agree, with three limpers the chance of you being beat on the flop are just too great. Alot of people check the ace here so if you bet you may be reraised, and you have to fold. Or called and they bet on the turn, and then you have to fold. You could even be essentally drawing dead here as people limp with AJ. I'm sorry, but I would even go so far as to say this is pretty clear cut, and I am pretty agressive in limit.

Four handed, I'm betting out. Many people raise 4-handed, especially in limit with any Ace, so your K and Q are alive many times. You're gonna be down to 200 in the SB on the next hand and chances are you're not gonna get any better.
Personally, I'm raising PF and putting the rest in on the flop. You've got 10 outs in many cases.

i dno alex theres some pretty passive players in the low limit s/gs. ive seen people limp with AK on the bubble. i doubt any1 is raising with acerag or something. also they are that bad that a jack or any pp calls. it could only be 4 tainted outs. i guess i check/fold if i checked pf and no ten. i probably raise pf i guess.

I would like to know what the other stacks were as well, player types etc.
I think I would push here, most people tighten up close to the bubble, I typically get more aggressive.
Comments ?
TIA

I'm a "go out with a bang, not with a whimper" person. You're gonna be on the button with T200 after the next hand. In 3 hands, you're back in the BB, down to T50. I think you should be raising PF. This is an SnG. What's 3rd gonna do for you? Nothing. You're depending on luck after you fold to a bet here anyway. This is the big pot that you need. I saying that many times, you've got 10 outs and at least 2 will play you and one will re-raise you to all in for another T75.
Winning this pot could put you at 1175-1425. Still not much to work with, but it's some breathing room. You shouldn't be checking in the BB with KQ and less than 1 bet in your stack. What if it checks all around and a K or a Q hits the turn?

Is this that same post from pokerpages? If so, you suck from bringing this to light again.
How damn long did that other discussion go on?
