Default Study groups etc.

Ok I have basically robbed this idea from the Cardrunners SSNL forum but whatever, I think it's quite good.

So the plan would be to get a list almost of the grinders at certain limits (I'm thinking NLHE cash, but obv tourneys and other games could have groups too) and the sites they play at and then group up to do session reviews and stuff. I think we could get more out of it than by just posting hands as folk could analyse whole PT sessions and it could help people see different aspects of the game and discuss concepts they wouldn't have otherwise thought of.

We could do it weekly, fortnightly, monthly or whatever people want and the format is obviously up for discussion. Either people make their PT database for those sessions available (by posting here, or sending it or posting on a blog site, whatever) or each person could do a vid and then have their play analysed by the rest of the group. Essentially you would analyse a few peoples and in return have your play analysed by a few others.

It could also be useful when thinking about moving up levels as you could join in with the people a level up and they could give you pointers on things you may need to change etc.

Does this seem like something peeps would want to do? I would be happy to organise it to an extent (for all levels, but once you're in your groups it's really up to you). Maybe if people just post some info and we can go from there. How about:

- Preferred game (ie. cash/tourneys/FL/NL/holdem/stud/6 card double flop omaha etc.)
- Stakes played
- Preferred sites
- Whether you want weekly/fortnightly/monthly analysis

Anyhoo, let me know what you think.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
