I think you're beat, but it might be worth a call just to see what he has.
I'm CDO. It's like OCD, but everying is in order just like it should be.

Well, I don't see how you could be in the lead. Here is my guess on his hand. At first glance, it looks like he has a straight. However, what two cards could he be calling with on the flop? The only straight cards I could see would be 45. However, 89 also gives him an OESD, and that is what I think he has. I think he has 89s, because I am not sure if he would play a 45s to a raise PF. He would probably call the flop, and I think he would call the turn too. I might have raised the turn with 89, but I wouldn't be in the hand in the first place.
So my conclusion is that he had 89s, but I think calling that extra bet is worth it to gain some info. Who knows, maybe he is pulling the call-call-bluff.

call 2 to win 20. only have to win 10%, but its probably not good here. i dno its tough.
this is limit though. its just a bb not your stack lol
i tried thinking of hands that you have beat that he would play like this and i really cant think of any. if lowest card was paired i call. if there was a flush draw on flop i call. he has to have at least 2 pair.it's better to be pissed off than pissed on

I ended up folding and never found out what he had.
I've been in this situation too many times, and have called and lost most of the time.
At the time, I put him on having a 10. A10, J10...even maybe 1010. 99 could have been a possiblitiy as well. Who knows what players will do sometimes!? Not many players bluff on the river though."Ok, this is for the game. How you doin' over there? NOT TOO GOOD!"" -Bubble Boy

you only have to win it 1 in 10 times to break even

While that's true Beavis, I shouldn't just call based on that stat alone, right? I mean, if I think I'm beat (which I did think) shouldn't I just fold?
It doesn't make sense to me to just call even though I thought I was beat just because I only need to win in this situation 10% of the time to even it out. Then again, I play more by feel and less by odds."Ok, this is for the game. How you doin' over there? NOT TOO GOOD!"" -Bubble Boy

Well, since you posted this hand, you obviously felt that you could possibly be ahead. By finding out his hand, you have a chance at pinning him as a fish, and making more money off him later.
Also, did you have any reads on him prior to this hand?

I actually thought I was behind. Everytime someone who has been calling suddenly bets first, the bells and whistles go off. Sometimes it really makes me think, "What do they have?!" They must know that I'm going to bet again, why wouldn't they just check raise me? (Although in this posted example I would have checked the river if it was checked to me)
I posted because I was just curious to see what others would do and I like learning from the feedback.
I had no info on him."Ok, this is for the game. How you doin' over there? NOT TOO GOOD!"" -Bubble Boy
