    Default Small Tourney Advice

I am playing in a small "tourney" on Friday with 16 people. The buy-in is $20 plus rebuys for the first 3 levels (1 hour 30mins). Start with 1000 in chips, blinds at 10-20 and increasing every 30mins.

So, how should I play this? Like a SNG? (I have played a few of these online)

BTW, this my second post so if there are links to tournament strategy, please post them!!

GAMBOOL it up early, do whatever it takes to accumlate a big stack. After the break you want to have enough chips where you're in a great position to money.

Hmm up every 30 minutes? At what rate do they increase

Small touneys usualy means full of beginers...

So full of loose and sometime over agressive players.

So i would say see cheap flops with a lot of suited connentors and hit bad or fold.
Try to be passive with your premium starting hands preflop (AA, KK, QQ) and wait for mistakes.

When you have hands like AK AQ be agressive preflop to avoid a ridiculous number of callers. Try to isolate an over agressive Ax. Same for small pockets. You dont want to be call by 5 poeples. You could also limp your small pairs and try to maximize the profit if you hit. More risky but will definately pay if you hit it a couple of times.

Protect your made hand against flushes and straights. Lots of loose players also means a lot of flushes monster hands.

Very basic adavices, but should be usefull.

I'm not sure of the increments, but I assume that it would go something like 10/20, 15/30, 20/40...
    THanks for help
