if you are playing at a full table with 9 ppl there is an average of 2 aces delt each hand which means that two ppl at the table may be holding an ace... if the flop came there is a good posiblity that one of the five people that called you was calling with a weak ace (which explains why they didn't raise preflop).. So in the face of a reraise or raise on the turn you are probabley looking at trip aces.. the low card hitting is even worse cause it may have hit there full house. but i like what stevo had to say about it..

OK lets examine the situation
what we know
new to the forum
new to any forum (based on the hey all thread)
screenname backdoor
we all know him
are all the above statements correct backdoor?
Questions
what pro would be unaware of poker forums?
if he is not a pro how would we know him?
A poker playing actor/celebrity perhaps?
but that brings back up the unaware of poker forums question. hmmm, well backdoor has peaked my curiosity!

With 6 to the flop, I check and fold on both of the aces flops almost every time. In LLHE, many people play any ace and the chance that someone has one is just too high. Alot of people will also for some bizarre reason slowplay this (which would be a huge error on the second flop with two spades), so even if you bet you will likely just be called (not raised) by someone with an ace, so you won't necessarily even find out where you are at.
Then on the the turn if you bet they will raise, or if you don't bet they will think you are weak and then bet, and then what do you do? I just think number of bets you waste pursuing this disasterous flop is not worth it. And if no one has an A you are unlikley to get alot of callers anyway, so even when you do win it won't be worth much.
The Kings are not quite as bad, because less people play any K. I might bet here and see what happens, I would NOT check and call.
But to play those aces flop is just throwing away bets in the long run.

Pretty good odds for what? Definately not enough to draw to a jack which might not even be clean. Good odds that he's bluffing? Why not play it Steve-O's line and get to showdown for cheaper while inducing a valuebet from a much weaker hand

Just because there are only two aces left in the deck doesn't mean they don't have them... it's like having KK, having the table rock move in pf and you go "but what are the odds of him having AA???"
It's irrelevant what the odds of him having the had are, his actions are what you have to be looking at.
