Say you're on the button and have A-K. You raise pre-flop and flop comes 9, 7, 3. Everyone checks to you and you raise again. The turn card is 10 and everyone checks to you. What do you think? How do you play it?

I would bet about 3/4 the pot - and pray that every1 folds

How many people are in the hand? How big was my preflop raise? How many stayed in after my flop bet? How big was your flop bet?
Without these factors, you can't really say because they all change the texture of the hand to a huge degree. Heck, cash game vs. tournament impacts my decision of how I play.
Personally, in a ring game I'd bet somewhere in the 2/3 pot range after the flop and then check the turn. Anyone that stayed with me through a preflop raise and that flop bet gets credit for possibly having better than my AK...I'll take the free card and see how people react on the river.

How many saw the flop, turn? Hell is it Limit or NL? Was this a ploy to spread your signature?

I had a very bad poker night a few weeks ago. We were playing $1/$2 NL HE. There were 2 tables and after a few hours we mixed players between the tables so that we could play with different opponents. We started about 8pm and by 12:30 half players were gone and there were enough players for one table. We played till 2:30am. So, during the night I was playing against a mixture of players: good players and loose callers. And the theme of the night was that I wasn’t getting good flop cards and I don’t think that I handled the situation properly. So, the reason behind the posting is to get your opinion about how do you approach such a situation? I know the case is general but you could say, e.g. if I’m playing with a loose caller I’ll check to get a free card. I want to get different answers, hence the generality of the posting.
