I agree, never ever play while furious for any reason and stop as soon as you can once you recognize that you are angry, it just leads to bad decisions which leads to bad losses (which leads to more anger but that's a separate issue). If you restrict yourself to only playing while not angry (and stop as soon as you get angry) then you'll have more money overall.

- if you play while you're tilting? A very . . . very . . . long . . . time. so, i'll echo the others, put it down when you start to feel. adrenaline, a flushed face, banging a fist on the table, cursing out loud, whatever. it's a sign to move on to something else because the slippery slope awaits. For a good player on nl5 how long should it take to make 36 dollars?
if you have your wits about you, that's 7+ buy-ins. at a rate of 3.5 PTbb/100 (which is winning, but not crushing the game by any means) - 10,000 hands maybe (math check: $.10 per ptBB, times "rate" = $.35 per 100hands, you wanna win $36? it'll take 100 iterations of 102 hands, that's 10k, roughly.)
of course a better winRate will cut down the time noticeably.
the crux is, you're playing at a level that's well within your bankroll. don't go pissing it off in a fit of temper. i don't visit too often, but when i do i'll check and see if you've got any HH's posted, and try to comment on anything i see out of line.

thanks for the replys guys i gave up in the end
Cashed out 110 pounds
left 20 dollars in my account to muck about playing sit n goes on
So far im up to 46 dollars but i know, that will probably all be lost on a swing as im not playing within my bankroll.
