I've played 3k ring game hands and a few Sit'n'Gos and two MTTs.

I cashed in both MTTs, 3rd out of 74 in one and 29th out of 481 in another.
I fucked up the SnGs. Heh.

I'm up to $218 from Wota's $100, and I'm just over 25% of the way to clearing a bonus which will get me another $100. So unless I hit a massive run of bad luck I should be well on my way to $500 by the end of this year.

I decided November isn't cursed, so please don't give me cause to change my mind, poker Gods.

Now I've got to actually work on an assignment for Uni. I'm such a degen I didn't do it last night 'cos I was coming 3rd in that MTT.

What would be interesting is if you clicked "More Detail" button on the left hand side of this screen and posted a screenshot of that and then also clicked the "Position Stats" tab along the top and posted a screenshot of your position stats.

That would give more to critisize

Isn't that pfr a bit low even at FR?

Yeah I just checked. Attempt to steal blinds should be closer to 20-25% imo.

Raising every hand you play preflop at full ring (and even more so in loose-passive games, which MJPerry said these games are) is just not optimal in my opinion.

E.g. If you get 88 UTG and decide to raise:

- You will occasionally take the blinds
- You will occasionally get 3bet when someone does have a big pair and often be denied good odds to set mine if they 3bet to 10bb+. Had you limped and they then raise to 5bb or so we can call and play for set.
- You will frequently end up playing 88 unimproved OOP as the preflop raiser in a multiway pot and not feeling very happy even if your hand is an overpair and you bet and get called.

I am now playing a strategy where I will never open raise any hand from the first 3-4 seats (This works better in more aggressive games though).
I limp in even with AK and big pairs. This mean when we are OOP we are either seeing a flop for 1bb each where we can check-fold AK unimproved and lose very little if outflopped with overpairs, or if there is a raise ahead of us we can repop and either play a pot OOP with over 1/8 of our stack in pre (position doesn't matter so much when stacks are this shallow relative to PF action) or take down anywhere from 5-15bb or so uncontested preflop which is about what AA makes on average anyway.

If anyone is interested I can go into this further.
