About LinkBacksI know i havent been posting much recently, largely in part because i have been very very very focused at the tables its insanity.
Its kinda weird how it all happened, but its finally all been clicking. I have been playing with so much confidence and control, and its been most certainly paying off.
i wish i could explain it, but mentally everything has been flowing.

i dunno i kinda just feel like im mentally maturing in the ways i regard poker. its a very weird feeling, but its clicking, and amazingly i have been running around average, no incredible runs of cards, just a mentality change.

That's great to hear, and I definitely know the feeling. It also shows in other aspects of your life outside of poker...as in you can be more calm and collect in your everyday life - thinking things through with a clear mind. Keep it up. This is a state that comes and goes for me at times, but when you've got it at the tables...it's a real good feeling.

fubny
im new to the site and i was hopping to find a topic like this. I just started playing again, and things have clicked. I won two back to back tourneys at home game against some long-time friends. Ive been struggling for over a year at casino, online and home games. But for some reason i played great games n made great decisions. Its very weird

Maybe you've achieved Zen in poker, just focusing on the moment at the table and nothing else. There's a book about it.
