I noticed this a while back but never really talked about it but it seems like the majority of the time my losses come in the beginning of my sessions, with me having to get the losses back and then winning. Does this happen to any of you? If it does then why do you think it happens, if not then tell me wtf is wrong with me.

seems like in the beginning of the session you are not playing seriously for whatever reason, then when you have to play catchup you play a lot better.

You're probably too anxious. As soon as you sit down your excited to play, looking for action. The solution is simple, just try to tighten up early on.
I think I'm going to give up playing poker.........and take up repeatedly hitting myself in the nuts

Happens to me at times.
I think it takes you a while to get into the swing of things when you start up a session, due to either you not having stats up/reads on table and needidng to get your poker head on.
Early on at a table try to play tighter than usual and in any marginal spot just take the conservative route. This can mean not only folding hands like AQ when 3bet or check-folding 77 on a 832 flop against a unknown raiser. It also means less slowplaying -if for example you have AA/KK preflop or flop a set just put as much money in as possible when you are almost certain you have the best hand and avoid tough decisions later in the hand.
Other things to try:
- Playing less tables at the start of a session and adding extras as you feel settled down
- Playing with a smaller buy in at the start of the session. Means you face less tough decisions on later streets
- Playing a lower stake than usual as a warm up. Similar to above in that $$wise variance is reduced until you feel you are fully focusedBest Current Ongame Deal.

Maybe you need something like a warm-up session to play your best poker afterwards.
Before starting a CG session, I usually do one or two SNG just to put my brain in the right track and be ready for fighting.
In the past, I had the same impression on my sessions I think.
And/or maybe you need to loose a bit and be under pressure to tighten your game and raise your skills...
It's not that problematic as long as you have a positive session

Happens to me ALL the time...
Same with a few of my friends...
I don't know, I guess you play better once you realize you're stuck a few buyins
+ overly agressive without reads on any players
I think following the tips Wota posted should help alleviate your problem"Kids these days, they get dealt AK and think they already won the pot"
