    Default Flop Commitment

I know it depends on reads and the people you play but as a general rule. what is the minimum hand it would take you to be willing to commit all your money on the flop. I just busted in a game with 2 pair kings and twos on a K 7 2 Board. He had 22. So what would it take you to be willing to put all your money in the pot on the flop? 2 pair? top pair good kicker? set?

Tournament? Cash game? 9 handed? 6 handed? More/less? We need some more info.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

A simple generic answer I suppose would be this:

After calculating pot odds to call the all in, define your opponents range and calculate your equity against that range. If pot equity>pot odds, call, if not then fold

Ok, lets say this is the first hand in a 45 man tournament. 4 people see the flop. if one person goes all in what hand would it take to call for you? say there are no immediate draws flop is K 7 2 rainbow. you are last to decide to call or not.

If you are last to decide then did anyone else call? How much money is already in the pot?

If you have seen the flop cheap then its probably not worth risking your whole tournament at this point, if half your stack is already in there then it's probably worth calling.

If the other 3 called the all in then its an easy fold

    prolly AK+

    Maybe KQ.

imo allinning like that is kind of a "i dont want action" play meaning he is strong, but not too strong. Alot of Kx hands make the play, and we beat most Kx hands.

you are by no means comitted though, and folding with a non 2 pair is pretty standard.

Two pair or better when I'm playing well

    KQ+ when I'm tilting

First hand in a tourney I am not all in with AK here, and I would hesitate with 2 pair, but any set will do...
I'm really uncreative when it comes to signatures
