    Default Poker-Edge (Free Software Trial)

    Hi Guys,

I wanted to see if anyone here is interested in trying out a Hold'em cash game and tournament tool we designed that works on over 100 poker-sites: Poker-Edge.com

With Poker-Edge, you're going to know everyone's playing style and real-time stats. Also, with the LobbyEdge plug-in, you'll instantly find the easiest and most profitable tables.

We have a free 5-day trial available for evaluation, and I'd really like to hear everybody's opinions whether good or bad.

I'll be checking in on this thread frequently for any questions or comments you have...and I want to thank you in advance for taking the time to review.

    Hi drnknmnkyFTW,

What game of competition or sport do you know of where the gathering of information on an opponent (one that you haven't played against or observed directly) is considered "unfair"? It seems that this ideology is only applicable to two online poker-sites: PartyPoker and PokerStars. I was a tournament chess player at one time, and having a team gather annotated games that my opponent had played was never considered "cheating"...but practical and valuable, i.e., advantageous. I see this type of information gathering at the highest levels of all competition. Whether it be poker, boxing, tennis; you name it, this is a part of the masters training.

Other software products that track players also have plug-in options for users to share databases, or datamine hand histories while not playing, and this is accepted. We've just made the process easier and more valuable. We're not trying to "cheat" anybody, but strive to give you a more efficient method to as much information as possible.

    Hi FaDi,

Poker-Edge is offered at different subscription rates for all levels of players. A subscription is necessary because we provide unmatched software adaptation to the constant changes in poker-site software...and constantly make refinements and develop new functionalities at the requests of our customers. We believe that Poker-Edge is the "elite" tracking software, and have set up this thread to offer a free trial for honest reviews from all members of this forum.

Can't wait to hear some reviews after taking it for a spin!

Let's see... so if I play NL2, and purchase the cheap subscription for "as low as $9.99 a month"), that's 500 BBs per month. which means if I play 1,000 hands in a month, which is about all I can handle, then I have to run at 50BB/100 just to break even.

On another note, I couldn't find an exact price. Saying "as low as $9.99 a month" causes me to believe that's the price IF I pay for multiple months up front. It would be nice to have the price list before creating an account.

    Hi triple-t,

I think your numbers are a bit off for NL2. I'm going to assume that you're talking about .01/.02 NL, therefore a BB (Big Bet) would equal .04

That actually comes out to 250 BB per month to equal $10.00 or 25BB/100 out of 1000 hands per month. I agree this is not worth it (unless you take advantage of our promotions to get Poker-Edge for free)....and really, this is the absolute lowest level of play, and not what we cater to. Maybe after getting Poker-Edge free for 3 months you'd make enough at the micro-level to move up in stakes!

You'll find that price lists and tons of other information is readily available in many different locations from our site including the Poker-Edge forum.

A subscription to the Basic membership can be purchased for $9.95/month if purchased in advance for 1 year; or $11.95 for 6 months; $13.95 for three months.

If subscribing with Paypal, it's an auto-renewing $15.95/month.

A subscription to the Gold Level membership can be purchased for $19.95/month if purchased in advance for 1 year; or $22.95 for 6 months; $25.95 for three months.

If subscribing with Paypal, it's an auto-renewing $31.95/month.

But if done through a special promotion, the Gold Level Membership is free for 3 months: http://www.poker-edge.com/getpokeredgefree.php?aid=ads11&bid=2d65772c

Thanks to those of you that have contacted me and evaluated Poker-Edge. I really appreciate all the feedback I've gotten so far (just wish you guys would post here so others know of your experience with PE ).

So, I'm going to give those of you that have already purchased a subscription one free month, and I'd like to extend this offer to all other members of this forum. No matter what subscription type you choose, contact me at support@poker-edge.com and I'll add one free month to your subscription.

(btw, we have a monthly SnG over at the PE forum, usually held at FullTilt. PE often adds to the prize pool, and we'd love to have more people show up for the game. So...if you're interested, let me know before the next tourney so I can put more pressure on the "powers that be" to make the prize pool REALLY juicy.)

Hey guys! I am a moderator for the Poker Edge forum but I am not a paid employee or connected to PE in any official capacity. If you haven't tried PE, you might want to at least consider it. This program has really helped out my game and I am sure can help yours too. I am by no means a great poker player but thanks to PE have managed to do a fair job. Feel free to look me up on SharkScope. As you can see, this is my first post in this forum but if you have any questions, you are more than welcome to join me in ours. I just posted all the tournament registration info for 11/03/2007. At least help me put some real pressure on the "powers that be". LOL
