Default Showing your hand when all fold to you

    Do you do it?

If so then when and why.

Do you ever show that you had a draw/nuts/bluff when no one called your bet/raise?

Some people never show, some people show strategically when they want to.

I'm trying to find out what is the logic of showing your hand.

    Thoughts?

    Yes I know I'm a

in a tournament if i steal the blinds with a strong hand, i will usually show so that people will (hopefully) respect my raises more.

In cash games, never show your hand. It just gives people free information on your game.

People say it's ok to show if you reckon you can get someone on tilt or whatever, but think about the other people not in the hand. At a 6max table you're giving free info to 5 people in the hope one of them goes on tilt. Not worth it imo.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

I do that as well now and then.

Also I used to show a bluff now and then so that I get called next time with a big hand. A long shot and I can't remember it ever working. The chances of the correct situation for this to happen are small. Its bullshit IMO and I'm glad I stopped doing it.

On PKR you have an option of showing one or both your hole cards. Useful for those who TRY to manipulate their opponent's thinking. I'd like to know how.

I never ever show. There are mind games people can play which may be successful -- for example, showing a bluff or two early on (and then not bluffing nearly as often later) so that people later will call you when you have a big hand.
