Alice: Ac9c
Charlie: Kc8d
Flop: Jc6c8c
Assume there's 100 in the pot. No pre-flop raising, stacks more or less the same.
Obviously Alice here is winning.
What is the best strategy of gettin Charlie to put as many chips in the pot as possible?
Charlie will probably call a small bet as he has a pair of 8 plus quite a good King high flush draw.
Do you bet 1xblind, 2xblind or what? Assume no checking.
I would bet just enough so to give Charlie good pot odds to call. What is the best amount to bet though?

this is a pretty irrelevant theory question, b/c poker is about playing vs. a range, not vs. a specific hand. in an unraised pot, my line here is def going to be pot-pot-pot. obv that's not what makes the most money against Kc8d, but whatever.

u don't bet as a multiple of the blinds you bet in relation to pot size
if you pot size bet each time you give him 2:1 immediate pot odds

if i had Ac9c. it would depend on my opponent and his image of me! If i bet all the time look real loose then just go ahead and fire (on the condition hes a clever/solid player), he wont believe you're bet and call it anyway! if hes real tight then let him have free cards. You want him to bet first!

Yep depends on your opponent. If I (Alice) have no prior knowledge of Charlie, I would bet about 1/2 of the pot.
But I shouldn't have know Charlie's hand in the first place.
Since I have the nut flush and nothing is paired, I check.

Simplest only theory base suggests that if you have your opponent drawing at a hand worse than yours that you slightly under bet the pot so that he/she has correct odds to draw, and pray that he/she hits the hand. That way you get paid off accordingly if they miss and paid off significantly if they hit.
