Last few months have been the best 3 poker months of my life and my online bankroll is currently at it's highest ever.
However I am playing pretty badly for a few days now and am starting to lose back some of my profits. Winning for a few months until I am financially comfortable and playing well at the levels I believe I should and then inexplicably losing all my poker ability overnight until my BR is depleted enough that I have to return to $200NL has been a pattern of mine throughout my poker career. This is not variance - I wasn't just running good for the past few months, I was also playing awesome and I am not even running badly the last few days at all, I am just playing terribly. This is not a poker problem it is psychological and obviously something I need to keep working on.
So anyway, I thought perhaps I should withdraw the majority of my BR and return to $50NL or $100NL and build my way back up:
1. This will serve as a punishment and maybe after grinding NL$50 for 20k hands I will not continue to revert to playing like a fucking penis every time I put a decent BR together.
2. It will prove an interesting challenge and perhaps some here would be interested in following my progress.
3. The dollar is decreasing by the minute and I can invest a few pounds in some sterling British companies.
Any thoughts/advices?
Also, if I did decide to do this would anyone here be interested in me posting key hands and results each day etc?

I actually thought about that, that would be awesome to say I rebuilt from like $100 but as I don't have any other income and have kids I can't really justify it.
At $50NL I still expect to bring in around $20-25/hr so I am still doing better than I would if I took a job in the real world for the month given my experience and work ethic.Best Current Ongame Deal.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
*yawn* how uninteresting.........
If you honestly think you can win enough to maintain a decent enough income to support your family then go for it.
Why do you think you have this problem? It's tough to give any advice without knowing really.
I don't like the thought of investing the money in UK firms, and as you're a nit I say just put the money in a UK bank
There are also financial instruments you could use to benefit from the exchange rates, depending on the amount you're withdrawing this could be worth exploring.

Harding go on AIM if your not too busy fishing.
Don't fancy currency speculation - sounds too dangerous. Was gonna buy some shares in something like Barclays. Those fuckers always charge me £20 if I am overdrawn by £1 for 5 minutes so must be a good investment.Best Current Ongame Deal.

he doesnt need luck?

if u can earn enough at NL50 and NL100 to maintain the lifestyle u and ur familia are used to, theres little argument to be made for staying at a level where you obv dont seem to play ur best.
and my piece of advice on investing ur roll would be NOT to invest it all in one or two British companies........diversification is the name of the game.
as ur apparently a nit(lol at jh calling you a nit...pot, say hello to kettle
), a short-term high-interest bank account may be a good idea.
and dont tell ur wife what ur doing as suddenly the kitchen will be falling apart, your bedroom wardrobes wont be big enough and the back garden could do with a bloody water feature
