How to pick an online table for ring games?
Wondering if anyone uses programs like spade eye or sixth sense to pick a table?
Also do you look at player stack sizes compared to max buy-in, flop %, average pot size, hands/hour?
I'm not sure what to look for so I just try to pick a full table that is not full of people with 1/2 the max buyin.

I look for a high avg. pot size, and check back once or twice after I've been playing for 30 minutes to make sure it's staying active

Here's what I do:
- On UB you can datamine with PT, so I do that alot and will generally just pick tables where I have lots of stats and can identify the fish
- Failing that, I look for anyone I have a note on
- Failing that, go for a high average pot (1/2 full buyin+ is a good number) and a high players to flop % (50+ is fisheriffic)
Beware that some sites don't update the table stats often so it can be quite misleading sometimes.
EDIT: I always want a table of full stacks, shorties really annoy me.

You shouldn't need to check back. After 30 mins playing at a table you should have a better idea of whether you are in a +EV game than 2 stats in lobby can give you. If you can't see at least 1-2 donks leave table.

1/2 full buy in average pot? What the fuck? I find tables with 1/5 full buy in hard to find!

avg pot > 5bb's
players/flop > 50%
ongame has plenty of both and the table stats can be seen when u click on each table in the lobby so its pretty easy to find those kinda games

Well spotted, typo. 1/4 tends to be about average on UB these days, so anything above that is just lovely.
