What to do???
Ok, so as I've stated, it's been a while since I've played poker and since I've "restarted" I've been playing micro limits (bankroll management and all) and I've come across a situation I haven't seen in a while and completely forgot how to play it.
I sit down at a micro limit table and there is one guy (two seats to my right) who is raising PF every hand. He is also fairly aggressive post flop. In this situation do you:
A) loosen up your starting hand requirements, ignoring his raises and counting his money as dead money in the pot beccause he has and will raise 72o as easily as AKs. Hopeing that you can out play him (and out luck him) post flop.
B) Don't change your starting hand requirements, which in effect causes you to tighten up significantly because now you know that every hand you can only play the hands that you would normally play to a raise.
C) Play his raises like you would play a normal players limps.
D) Change tables (not a real option because you know you should be able to take his stack given enough time).
PS: this guy reminded me of the way Bonch used to play micro limits, for those of you who remember him...

Tighten up a bit imo and be less speculative but assuming you are full stacked I'd like to see lots of pots with pairs/suited connectors assuming he is laggy enough to stack off postflop.
3bet him alot, and be happy to get all in preflop with TT+/AK (assuming he has been seen to put in 4bets with weaker hands).
Be patient, he'll give it to you soon enough. Personally I don't like those tables as I want to be the aggressive one in hands but as soon as you hit a flop with 67s you'll break him.
EDIT: I'm assuming 6max NLHE btw.

well, it was FLHE, so AI wasn't really an option. It wasn't uncommon for it to be 3 or 4 bets PF and go that high post flop. I'm going to wait for a few more comments before I say what I did.

3bet him a tonnnnnn to try and isolate and get the pot heads up on the flop where you will have an equity advantage b/c his cards are crap and yours are solid.

I'd suggest playing somewhat normal PF.
Call with your pocket paiirs. Reraise with your nice pocket pairs, call with your high cards, raeraise with your nice high cards, and fold teh rest.
Against this opponent you wanna make a hand, and then be aggressive. See a flop, make top pair, or two pair, or set, or nut flush draw +pair, or opene ende strait + flush draw, and then be aggressive.
I'd suggest not bluffing, just let him have the pots when your in bad shape.

Well, I tightened up quite a bit (went from a 21%vpip normal to 13vpip for that session) and I took a bath. Lost a little over 40bb while I was at that table. the biggest loss was to the maniac when I my AQs (flopped top pair) got cracked by A8o and I played it a very aggressive because he was such a maniac...it happens. It was all I could do not to tilt out after that game....
I felt i had played it right and honestly believe that I would have come out ahead had he stayed at the table longer (we only had 80 hand together) but I have his name and will keep looking for him )

w00t w00t....min bet pokery is making a comeback here
i have a feeling ur prob playing FR whereas im a 6max donk....
assuming the guy in between folds, i actually loosen up here and 3-bet him to get hu
any Ax, any pair, any couple high cards JT+
knowing that this guy is gonna keep betting no matter what he has, im quite happy to be hu with a less than marginal hand(hoping) that im good enough to know when to get outta there.
playing FR, i would also prob 3-bet him pf with much the same idea but very dependent on who was behind me.
any semi-competent player will know exactly what ur doing when u 3-bet and should be very capable of capping it pf with a similar less-than-ideal hand.
