I feel like this is my fault I lost this hand. However, after all the pre-flop action I was very weary of AA or QQ being out there so I went into check & call mode. I just sat down at this table when this happened so I didn't really have a feel for the players. I feel like I should have raised on the flop. This seems like a bad beat that I could have prevented.

That guy never should have been in the hand, and the way he called some of those bets, it wouldn't have surprised me if he called you even if you pushed.

you have to raise the turn.
if you called on the flop because you thought you were behind then fold because the odds arent there.
if you called the flop intending to c/r the turn where is the raise?it's better to be pissed off than pissed on

yep
I agree with JK..
He's almost got pot adds on most streets to hit his outs - and when he did hit he was paid off.. It's a marginal hand for him - cetainly one I wouldn't play - but he's not done too much wrong post flop..
You needed to test if the AA or set were out there: a heavier raise on the flop and Turn is needed to find this out... this would have busted him out and confirmed what you were up against.
Checking is almost pointless post-flop in NL - it doesn't tell you anything.See me playing $10/$20NL like it was play money

Hey Alex...I checked the acronyms post and I don't know what HH is. Am I missing something? Also, is it a faux paux to post hand histories here? If so it won't happen again and I apologize.
I should have raised on the flop for sure, and the turn. I played it too weak. However, I still think the clown with 35 would have called all the way. He made some other stupid plays the more I got to watch him.
AND he did the most inconsiderate move...folding when it was a check to him. I hate it when people do that. Poor caddying all around."Ok, this is for the game. How you doin' over there? NOT TOO GOOD!"" -Bubble Boy

I'll add it. HH=Hand History
I do think that you should raise the flop or turn, but we don't know why JKoff feels this way because he didn't say. Could it be thoughtless Monday Morning QB'ing? Or is there a reason? I know the reason why he feels this way, but what not let the other person bet it? Get AQ to pay you off.
