Probably because they were both already in for .10c and you only raised it too .35c. Its not like you lost very much anyway.

u have only been playing for roughly 5 minutes so id get into a groove at one of the above before i tried to master them all.

not that im any kinda yardstick to go by but im playing online (semi)seriously for more than two years and i cant get my head around how i should play NL ring.
i dabble in it for a while every now and again but i still cant suss it out as well as is needed/have the bottle for it so i stick to limit and SNGs as my main games....im sure there are others who cant handle playing limit constantly either.

maybe im wrong here but i would honestly just stick to either limit or NL until ur a proven winner at one or the other and u have a healthy roll built up and then branch out into other games.

They're all about implied odds and position. You played that hand well, just keep doing more of the same thing. There's no need to get tricky at all, just make solid value bets. Get poker office or poker tracker and just look for the donks with 70%vpip, it means they're playing 70% of the hands and will pay you off with any bit of the board.

Then, just play SNG's.

mkind's an online player who sucks at cash but killed SNG's and MTT's so he built a $50k+ bankroll doing what he does best, continues to play those games. and plays $50 cash games for fun on free time to learn.
