    NEXT OUT COMES 11TH AND MISSES THE FINAL TABLE.
    AVERAGE STACK IS ABOUT 3500.
    HE IS SHORT STACKED AND HE HAS CALLED MY 400 RAISE.
    DO I CALL THE REST AND HOPE TO INCREASE MY STACK OR LET HIM TAKE MY 400??

    Absolutely. He's short stacked so could be playing with anything. pocket 9's is a strong hand in a heads up situation. Also the added equity of knocking him out and making the money make this an automatic call.

    What did you do? How did it pan out - just curious.

    Given your luck, I guess having 20% equity yet losing qualifies as a bad beat

    Anyways the call you made was good. You get about 2:1 pot odds so whenever he has overcards you win.

    I think you made the right call, but getting beat like that is the name of the game. I bet you've done the same thing to plenty of people. It is just a continuous circle..
