    Default O8b fold hand

    ** Dealing down cards **
    Dealt to beavis_68 [ ]
Maybe I should have raised from the SB, but for some reason I didn't, five see the flop.
    ** Dealing Flop ** [ , , ]
I check from up front, it gets bet, and everone calls.
    ** Dealing Turn ** [ ]
Again I check and it gets bet but the last to act. With no chance at the high, only 5BBs in the pot, I decide that calling is not worth it, and fold.
    3 see the the river
    ** Dealing River ** [ ]
Now it gets bet, raised, and 3-bet, I feel like I made a good laydown until I see the final hands...............
Rousseau shows [ 4c, 3h, 7s, Kh ] a full house, Kings full of sevens.
    Rousseau shows 8,7,5,4,3 for low.
    RenoFloyd doesn't show [ 2s, 6s, Ts, 9s ] a straight, five to nine.
RenoFloyd doesn't show 8,7,6,5,2 for low.
    Jefbb1790 shows [ Kd, 5d, 3d, 4s ] a full house, Kings full of fives.
    Jefbb1790 shows 8,7,5,4,3 for low.
Rousseau wins $8.13 from the main pot with a full house, Kings full of sevens.
Jefbb1790 wins Lo ($4.06) from the main pot with 8,7,5,4,3.
Rousseau wins Lo ($4.06) from the main pot with 8,7,5,4,3.

This is how it is going for me today, I stay and miss, outdrawn, get quarted, or win a small pot, and I fold and.............

gotta call here. especially with all limpers, doubtful A2

21 outs to the low (unless of course someone specifically has A3 AND you get counterfeited)

you're almost 50% to have nut or 2nd nut low.

5BBs + at least 3 more when you make your low, 1 BB to win 4, even if your quartered it's almost +EV

    4-3s
    3-4s
    4-6s
    4-7s
That is 15, I would hate if an Ace hit, I can tell you have much I lost to 23xx in this game. 15 nut outs. Still this was pretty weak tight, would you have raised the flop?

And I would have hated it with all the raising breaking out, I have not won a single pot with a non-nut low and have been getting quartered well more than my share, so I am getting gun shy.

    Thanks for the advice.

at least partial outs, I have just had my ass handed to me playing 2nd nut low this weekend.

Would you raise the turn? And please look at my big pot hand.

no I would have done what you did, if he raises it may shut out the rest of the field and with only 1 way potential you want people in. plus you'll be able to check raise the river when you hit trapping the other players.
