Default Bankroll for PL omaha?

This is a something I want to learn - The game of Omaha

2007 has been a very interesting year as far as poker is concerned, I have invariably tried to make the switch from Texas Holdem to Omaha Hi and Hi/Lo in places, I have so far broke even for most of the year if not running at a small loss.

Assume that I have average experience in Omaha, I understand bankroll requirements for FL and NL holdem, this is where im looking into PL bankroll requirements and trying to build myself a solid bankroll from a small deposit. I have a rakeback deal to help boost this.

Lets take $0.15/$0.25 PL Omaha Hi. Lets take a bankroll of $200. This gives me around 800 big blinds, should I be looking at more than this...

This gives me buyins of 20 x $10, or 8 x $25(max)

I would ask if this bankroll is enough, but that doesnt seem the right question. Id just like your opinion.

PLO Straight High has far higher variance than NLHE so I would probably multiply whatever I considered an adequate NLHE bankroll by 1.5.

It depends.

Do you buy in full stack or short? If you're buying in for >$10 than $200 should be ok. I would want more but would feel comfy with $200

PLO8 is about the same. O8 (limit) you need far less a bankroll to play, variance is very low
