Default What do you do when you are card dead...

    in a tournament?

In a 9 person sit n go, out of 53 hands I was delt only 5 aces, only 2 above A-8. My best hand statistically the entire night was pocket 9s, and that was the only pocket pair. I recieved no hands AT or above.

The blinds are going up, my stack is dwindling, and I am only about 16-17x the BB.

Usually when I picked up an ace, I was in early/middle position and missed the flop if I managed to see it.

What do I do? I am not sitting around waiting for AA, KK or even AJ, but I am recieving hands lik 82o, 93o, K3o, J5s, etc.

This happens to me regularly, so I would like to know what you would all do.

Nothing you can do. Sit and wait for good cards or the push/fold range.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R

KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

Yes, and I have robbed the blinds and the pot many times. But there are many times when I have been called by the blind costing me a number of chips, something I cannot afford to lose a lot of at this stage.

It doesn't help that most people on online tourneys and such are so aggressive htat robbing them can be quite difficult.

Good players will eventually catch on to the fact that I'm robbing a lot and start to test my raises. I obviously must abandon ship as 93o or Q6s are not hands that I really want to go to war with.

It's not about the bordom as much as it is about my chip stack quickly decreasing due to the high blind levels and antes.
