Ok ... first stages of the tournament so it's embarassing but till!
blinds are very small
last hand, this loose guy raised with KcQd x5 big blind in early position
and then when he hit top pair, he bet half the pot, some other guy raised minimum and he pushed all-in. The flop was Kh 8s 2s and the other guy called with Ks9s and then didn't get his flush
the next hand, I have Ah8h in late position , the loose guy makes the same raise from early position. I raise him x3 and he calls
The flop comes Ah 4s 5c .. he checks, I bet very small like 1/3 pot and he raises me all-in. I call and he shows AT of diamonds
Any advice I should be following? Prolly I should have been playing A LOT tigheter since it was early in the tournament and folded whne he raised me all in when i just had a pair. I guess it's alwasy bad underestimaing a loose plaeyr

First round, I'm not playing A8s. If you are going to, just flat call his bitch raise.
IMO, you are playing to hit two pair, or TP with the nut flush draw or something.
Top pair, 8 kicker is a shit hand.If you are one in a million, there's eight just like you in Manhattan.

If he made a 5bb raise in EP early in the tournament, fold A8 every time imo.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

SNG vs MTT??
Early stages of a SNG i fold A8 in any position whether there is a raise or not except sb vs bb and even sometimes even here if the bb is really loose
How does this stragety differ in a MTT. I would fold to a big raise from EP, but is this hand to weak to open with from late position??
