Hi guys,
I've been lurking around here for a while picking up tips here and there and just seeing what the site is all about.
Fairly recently I purchased PT to track my own play and hopefully take things to another level of play for myself. I'm beginning to get into the limit side of things, and thus far it has been successful, but I would like to get some opinions on how my play is looking regarding the lower limits.
So far after 1,818 hands between .25/.50 and .50/1.00 PT has autorated me at an SLPP with +4.69BB, 22.17VP$IP.
How do those stats look for those levels and what else might I look at to help improve my game a bit?
Thanks!

Looking at my PT stats

OK, I don't have PT, so you might not want to use my advice here.
Your VPIP is a little high, probably indicating that you are a little loose. VPIP should be about 16-19%. Correct, PT users?
However, that is not nearly enough hands, so it isn't a very good gauge yet.

Yea, I know 1800 hands isn't a whole lot to go on at this point. I've only got about 4500 total hands logged into PT as it is.
Trying to learn more about positional play with decent to good hands, which will hopefully drop the VP$IP # a bit more. It certainly doesn't "feel" like I'm playing a lot of hands.
My MTT numbers are around 15-18% for VP$IP.
What else should I be looking at in PT to learn where more of my problem area might exist?

is that BB number total? Or 4.8 BB/100?
If it is BB/100, I would say you have found a good formula for your game, don't mess with it, if it is total:
You VPIP is probably ok, but it definitely could be tighter. I have a hard time getting too much tighter than 20% in the games I play at similar limits, you don't want to fold good drawing hands in multi-way pots.
You agression is too low, you are calling too much. You should be betting, raising, and maybe folding more.
What is your PFR% and you Aggression Factor (don't include PFR)?
As you said, position is important, I think I play about 10% of the hands from UTG and UTG+1.
Also, look at your blinds play - that can be a big leak.

Beavis, yes that is 4.8 BB/100 total for my limit hands to this point. I know being + is good, but wasn't sure how that might stack up to all the other limit players out there.
PFR is 4.51%
AGR (w/o PFR) is 1.45 which is just slightly below Agressive according to PT if I'm correct?
Blind Play:
Total Blinds: -.15 BB/100
Big Blind: -.17 BB/100
Small Blind: -.13 BB/100
I know what UTG means, but what position is classified as UTG? 1st to act after BB? or 1st to act period?

ok i have my pt opened in front of me.
I only have 6K hands in it so far.
BB/100 5.23
VPIP 14.59
PFR 5.75
total aggresion factor (which I think is kinda dumb but not meaningless) 1.44
I'm rated as a tight-aggressive/passiveRead my musings on poker and life at Online Poker Examiner, Poker Examiner, PokerNewsBoy.com, and My Poker Blog

If you are running at 4.8BB/100, I would not change a thing.
That is an extremely good rate.
You could try to change your other numbers, but if your BB/100 is that good, why?

This cracks me up (no insult to you Steve). This is about a months worth of full time live play.

Thanks for the quick down and dirty analysis fellas!
If the numbers are indeed as good as you say they are then I definately won't be changing a whole lot except shoring up what holes I find.
Based on what Steve-O posted, other than VPIP, I'm really not a whole lot different number wise.
At least I know I'm on a pretty-good track.
Gracias, and maybe I'll eventually run into a few of you on the tables!
