I've been playing a whole bunch of the 1 table $5 sngs on Stars recently and over the last few days I've noticed a really weird trend. It seems like every time I get down to 4 handed there is always one guy who hasn't raised pre-flop once! Sometimes it will take 50 hands to get 4 handed, others it may take as long as 75 or 80 but there always seems to be one guy sitting there who never raises pre-flop. Like now I'm 4 handed and theres a guy who hasn't raised pre-flop through 60 hands.
Is it just me or does it sound really weird to have never raised pre-flop the entire sng?

maybe a bot or someone who has figured out the trick to guarentee a cash(likely not winning) in these SnG's

These people are probably playing 8 sngs at once, and can just fold until the bubble and scrape a 5-10% RIO at the lower stakes, using good push/fold skills.
Could god microwave a burrito so hot, that he himself could not eat it?

basic strategy for low buy-in sit and gos, wait for the 75/150 round or later before implementing a push fold strategy. I'd bet it's more lucrative than any other style at these limits (I've been the spokesman for it for 5 years now
).

Actually, I think they are just very very bad players lol. I sharkscoped one and he was down $239 over 129 games. Another was down $169 over 161 games. So I think they are more just total donks rather than uber tight.

people with 129 and 161 games under their belt are not donks. you may just be running into a cash player goofing around in tourneys. I play a bunch of $6 turbos when I want to play and not have to focus 100%.I sharkscoped one and he was down $239 over 129 games. Another was down $169 over 161 games. So I think they are more just total donks rather than uber tight.
Also I'm a little leary of sharkscopes stats. I looked up my old name on the cryptos: it says I play an avg of $27 tourneys (40 something of them). I've played less than 10 tourneys on the cryptos and they were all $10 S&G's

05-06-2007 #8For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

Mine's bad because I get loaded and bored late at night. I also suck at 180mans. If you subscribe, it's a much better tool. Someone can have a high volume and be in the red, but they can just be terrible at a certain game that they play a lot moreso for practice or fun. A friend of mine solely plays the HU SNG's and used to see people with horrid ss's that he's underestimate. Once he subscribed, he found a ton of people who had great HU stats, but shitty everything else stats and vice versa.
