With no reads, I fold KJo/KJs but call AQ. But AQ is one of my weakest hands so I could be wrong.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Honestly there is no reason not to fold there.. I agree with david.. KJ is a pretty weak hand.. and very rarely wins. It can be a legitimate fold.

You gotta ask yourself what he is raising with that you can beat with KJo. If the flop comes K72 and he bets you are probably folding. If the flop comes J72 and he bets you are probably folding. The only flop that is any good for you is like KJ2 or AQ10 or something. Just not worth calling a raise with it preflop.

To be honest I think its -EV to call with no read... but 6-5 handed I tend to play very loose... So I guess I can call KJ in some situations... But considering UTG only has 19$ behind I fold. Not enough implied odds to justify the call.

AQ I definately at least call.... 5 handed, you dominate many hands that can make that raise and you are at even $$ with many others...

I fold this most of the time, but there may be a few spots you can play this.

If I do play, I'm going to 3-bet, only way to make up for your awful position. Have to lead at most flops as well.
If you are one in a million, there's eight just like you in Manhattan.

Thanks for the responses - I know it was a straightforward question, but sometimes you just need to check with others. I would also fold here pretty much all the time without reads. I just thought it might be a bit tight 5/6 handed, but glad that everyone plays the same.

For the record I'm running at a slight loss with KJ from the blinds to a raise (mainly because I fold so much). With AQ I'm winning 2.32 BB/Hand in the same situations.

no offense, but i suggest looking at different situations first to try and find leaks in your game because calling/folding/raising are all fine here

Wouldnt you say the average person should fold here though until they have experience enough to be able to play it postflop?

    yes, generally.

also i would say calling is the worst option of the 3. raise this a few times though just to mix things up. keep people guessing.
