6 man SNG, top two places pay out.
The BB had been playing solid and was the chip leader. I had meant to fold from the small blind but hit call by mistake.

Preflop: Hero is SB with,
.
3 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.
Flop: (t200),
,
(2 players)
Hero bets t100, BB calls t100.
From previous play I think at this point he hit part of this flop. either paired the board or on a draw.
Turn: (t400)(2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets t200, Hero raises to t600, BB calls t400.
River: (t1600)(2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets t2900 (All-In), Hero folds.
Final Pot: t4500
My reasoning for folding is that if I called and lost I was out. If I called and won the BB would have less than a $1000 in chips but we would still have almost a full table. If I folded I would still have over $2000 in chips and still be in good shape to make the money.
After he called the turn check raise I put him on atleast a pair on the board if not 2 pair.
I think my play was correct in my goal to make it to the money. That was probably the hardest laydown I ever had to do

Good laydown IMO.
The other 3 folk are fairly short, you're in a strong position so there's no need to get your money in on a mediocre hand. When he calls the c/r he has something, and the overbet on the river means serious strength most of the time. For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Anyone throwing out a blocking bet on the river?
Could god microwave a burrito so hot, that he himself could not eat it?

Yes indeed, but it depends on the stakes of the tourney. Otherwise I go for a check/call, calling around a 1/2 pot bet.
I would be wary of who I block bet against. The villain has been playing solid and if he's a savvy player he will see through this bet like a strippers underwear and shove. For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

You filled up on the river. I'm going busto here. If has a 7 or 77, so be it. If he has JJ, he played it OK.
Looks to me like a busted draw. Looks A LOT like a busted draw. What the hell would he be overbetting that river with? He'd look to sucker you in if he had the absolute nuts.
While yes, I do and other better players do overbet like this with the nuts for value...NEVER respect someone for it at the smaller levels until they've proven it to you.
At these stakes (I'm guessing it's >$10), this is a river bluff 80% of time.BOSS
