Here was the situation.
6 man SNG top 2 places get paid, 5 people left.
blinds 15/30
UTG 4185
mp 150
Button 65
SB 3400
BB Hero 1200
Hero has 10 3 os
utg folds
mp goes all in
Button calls all in
sb folds
Should I have called? I am getting good odds but winning the hand will only put us on the money bubble.
MP probably has a pair or decent Ax, button probably has atleast one face card.
I am thinking that to call these two I would want to have AK - AQ and JJ or higher. Are these calling requirements to tight?
Thanks

SNG Calling two all ins - what to do??

I would say your calling requirements are not necessarily to tight but 10 3 offsuite is a stretch.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

Blinds are 15/30, you have 40 BBs, and you're thinking of getting all your chips in all ready? Ehhhhh, what?

Oh, just looked at the opponents stack sizes, lol. No I still don't call. Save your 135. It's drastically -cEV when the bubble is approaching.

Thats what I figured.
Glad to see that I made the right call.
If you where on the money bubble and eliminating one person put every one in the money would it make sense to call with say 98 os or lower just to help with the bubble?

na you can fold this, trying to take them out won't really matter much anyway

There's 260 in the pot and you have to call 120 more (so you're getting 2.16 to 1 on your money)
Let's say your opponents have:
AQ offsuit
77
With 10/3 offsuit you're only about 18% against their hands in that spot. But, you also have to take into consideration that both opponents do not have the same stack size. As such, if you just put your hand against them each individually:
You're about 32% against the AQ and 29% against the pocket 7's (in each instance I had the 7's match up with your suits and the AQ did not)
I think it's an easy call because you have the opportunity to increase your chances of knocking one more player out of contention (two hands are better than one anyway)
The problem is, the two chip leaders are well ahead of you, and only two places pay. Even if you do win this hand and knock both players out, you don't gain many chips and are on the money bubble where you can get pushed around by the chip leaders (or, perhaps you can do some pushing yourself, since they obviously won't want to double you up and risk losing their significant lead)
I think I'd make the call myself. Even if you lose, you still have plenty of chips with blinds at 15/30www.RakeReport.net

instafold. I probably call with any pocket pair any paint, some Ax's and some suited connectors.

Fold.
If you call and win it barely makes a difference, if you call and lose you treble up someone who is now right back in it. Leave them to fight it themselves, one of them is either getting knocked out or crippled. For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
