    Default Any Ideas?

Hey guys, just writing to clear up how I should be playing. When it boils down to tourney's I feel very confident...my stats spoeak for themselves, and even though they are are small tourney's (under 14 seats per) I seem to win very consistantly. The problem however lies in my ability to play ring in .05/.10 is it because, I either break even after a few days of playing, or don't post any significant improvements to my BR.

Anyone have any ideas for me regarding smaller staked online, cause guys will play with almost anything I'm finding, btw I play a lot on FTP..,.Should I be playing higher limits? I'm just trying to find what works for me, but not having the experience really hurts me.

Let me know if you guys can help...Btw, I have just recently gotten through HEPFAP, and SS2.

play AA KK and QQ and bet heavy, play small pairs suited connectors and Ace suited from late position for 1 bet and either hit the flop hard or drop.

low limit NLHE is easy to beat if you don't mind playing the most boring game of poker possible.

    I have good tourney stats.

    My ring sucks.

While the starting hands required for each may be similar the betting strategies are very different as far as I can tell.

No help for you though I'm afraid, I'd be interested in other's thoughts on the strategic differences in the two forms.

Steve-O posted as I did and I think he's hit it on the head.

Playing successful ring at those levels is boring. I like the adrenaline, hence the tourneys with the allin fun.

Thanks guys, I'm getting frustrated of winning 400-600 a month in tourney's and losing 50 bucks a month in ring games lol///

Thanks, Hey Steve-O you getting my PM's? I was just wondering?

I had the exact same problem - do fairly well in SnG's and the like, but got my butt handed to me in ring. My solution - switch to limit for ring.

I really think I needed a change of pace, so went back to playing primarily limit for cash. I've stared to dabble a bit in the micro-micro NL games again, with mixed success (which is better than what I was having before).
I'm CDO. It's like OCD, but everying is in order just like it should be.

And you're finding that playing limit is really making you more on micro limit?

Mebbe I'll giver that a try, my only fear is b/c I have onbly been playing for 5 or so months that I'm spreading myself thin by trying to learn new games...but I was starting to gather up courage to get into 7 Card...lol...I guess i"l try LHE than.

Thanks Gir, o btw I didn't get your pm Steve...butin the future I'll just email you then ty..
