That depends on what you play... and what limits you play. brunsons super system 2 has 6 different games, and it has a pretty big section on no limit Holdem poker. Haven''t read it yet. i was a little disappointed on the limit section. does anyone know a good limit book?

For NLHE Sklansky Theory of Poker is a good one to start with. Phil Gordon's little green book is also pretty highly recommended. As was said before if you play tourneys then HOH is all you need.

If you play limit then Sklansky's small stakes hold'em is worth picking up.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

NLHE: Theory and Practice by Sklansky is one of the best books I've read.
As said above, Harrington's books are a must for anyone playing tournament poker.
The Little Green Book by Phil Gordon is a good read but more basic than Sklansky's.
I think I'm going to give up playing poker.........and take up repeatedly hitting myself in the nuts

Agreed but it's quite an advanced book though so I'd recommend you have a good grasp of the main concepts from Little green book/theory of poker first.
