I always thought limit was better for BR management because it would allow less risk when it came to losing a big chunk to a bad beat. However my opinion has changed. With more control of the pot No Limit is definetly the way to go.

Poker is a game of variance and even if you play perfect shit is going to happen but with discipline my latest BR is growing nicely. I can think of a couple of hands I could of played different and would probably have about 60% more of a BR but thats neither here nor there.

Also I am taking more of a liking to cash ring games vs SNGs and MTTs. I was always attracted to the latter because there was a finality and sometimes a juicy prize at the end. After rereading some of my poker books and trying a more tight aggressive style I find cash games much more profitable. My BR was originally $50, it was $207 at one time. It is currently $167. I lost $79 with pocket AA and KK but my BR is still growing.

I now consider myself a no limit cash player. I think I am done with SNGs and will probably play tourneys occasionally more for fun than profit.
