Rebuys are fuuuuuuuuuun. You get to donk around for an hour, pushing with 87 sooooooooooted and sucking out, the you get to play deep stack poker after the break.
At what chip stack do you quit with the pushes and hold tight till the rebuy is over? I have been solidifying my game at around $10,000 on the stars rebuy, wondering other's thoughts.

open pushing with shit in a rebuy is pointless imo.
i use the stupidity of other players to get a decent stack.
lets put it this way. halfway into the rebuy period tonight i havnt played a hand. i get JJ on the bb, everyone limps. i shove 2500, and get 5 callers. presto, now fold unless i get another premium. either way i generally leave the rebuy period with 10k-20k in chips depending how many good cards i get.
i am generally in for $9-$30(in the 3r), unlike some people who go CRAZY, and have the same ammount of chips.
2 nights in a row i have had 12k and 14k at break being in for $9.
edit: there is lots of math on 2+2 basically proving there is no EV in going all in every hand.Last edited by tightagressive; 02-14-2007 at 06:17 PM.
