I just started playing on Ongame and I realized that they have (as well as some other sites) color codes alongside with player notes. Can you provide me with good examples how you color code other players or if you have any links to coding examples I would appreciate it. One bad thing about color coding for me is that my I have trouble differentiating shades of colours and therefore using all the colors isn’t really even good for me

Color-coding your opponents

I used lots of statistical analysis as well as evidence observed at the tables to produce the following system which can be used on all Ongame Skins.
Green = Donk. You will see this guy call a raise with ATo out of position, limp in UTG with J7s and stack off with A7 in a multiway pot on a board 764. Play ABC poker and value bet weaker holdings vs him. Eg never Cbet with AK hoping to take it down but value bet AK high because he may call with A7 high.
Red = LAG. You will see this player consistently raising when several players hav already entered the pot and liberally raising/reraising in LP. Call his raises and push him off postflop because he will probably a) have non-premium holdings and b) be good enough to fold when he meets resistance.
Green with + = Super Tight Idiot. You will see this player limping and flat calling a raise with QQ and in a limped pot with AK. If this player raises you play KK for set value along with every other pocket pair because he has waited all day for his AA so he is not laying them down when you flop your set.
Hope this helps.

Color-coding your opponents
I love those color codes, that my favorites thing on that network. I keep it pretty simple and use:
Red: Loose Aggressive / Maniac
Yellow: Loose Passive / Fishy
Green Plus: TAG / Good player
Green Minus: Weak Tight / Rock
Green : Boring / Semi Loose / Vanilla
The little yellow explanation mark I save for known players, FTR'ers etc.
I always have my Poker Pro 2006 running, It helps you to auto captures all cards, players and provides. But when I've got enough hands on someone, I give them a color code too, that way I can see them before I sit down. Great for seat/game selection.
