looks by the book, if you were up against KK or 66, so be it.

Good play, especially since the pre-flop raiser folded, I think you can eliminate KK. Both of your re-raises were good too.

It worked out for you so....I guess in that way it was a good play and I thought that your turn play was alright, but I'd probably have never played this hand to begin with, because you are UTG+1, with a marginal hand, the problem with limping like you did initially is that you might get raised and be forced to muck it (a wasted .50) or call and then when you don't hit, fold (a wasted 1.50, which is most likely) or chase it all the way to the river, hoping for one of your two outs to hit (more wasted money). Now this situation is fundamentally similar to beavis' 22's. There was a lot of action pre-flop, which means that it's not likely that someone is holding A6 or other similar hands with a six (unless its 66).

If I was in that position I'd be very tempted to fire off a small bet on that flop, because there is a chance you'd win it right there (because if no one has a king or a six, it is unlikely they'd call) and if they do hold either of those cards this is a typical slow-play situation and would most likely only call (same with anyone holding a king or other pocket pair), because they'd want you to fire off again on the turn in which they'd re-raise the crap out of, as seen here.

Also, if you do bet here it is very, very likely that they'd put you on having the K and thus (as in this case) when you do hit your 7, they'd never put you on it, so you could bet out again on the turn (an even bigger now, because being stupid they'll think that they fooled someone by only calling with their three sixes and not re-raising), knowing that they'd mindlessly re-raise and then you can re-raise all-in (unless you think they got pocket KK's or 66's, then your a dead duck). Anyways, that's what I think.

    I lost.

    He had 66.

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't somehow made obvious somehow.

    Thanks.

Almost kinda assumed that he had either KK or 66 since you didn't post the results...

nah, I never post results, they simply don't matter at all when evaluating play.

    It's gone both ways.

Yea, it really is better not to post results, unless it is a glory corner or river rat.
