Red face layed down queens to jacks

i recently was playing in a .25-.50 no limit cash game
(online) and misplayed a hand by folding the winner on the river.I'll tell u my thoughts on y i did this, tell me what u think i should of done or if i could of played it differently

    myself-$74, villian-$147(6 handed)

preflop-the villian raises to 1.75 from the cutoff, the button and the small blind fold, i call from the big blind with wired queens.

flop-10 7 2 rainbow-i checked to the villian who then bet $3, i then check raised up to $7, the villian thought for a little bit then called the extra $4, at this point i put the villian on jacks, kings, aces, ace-king, or possibly ace- queen

the turn brought a 9 for a board of 10 7 2 9, with $17.50 in the pot i bet out $12, the villian called the $12 bet, i then eliminated the possibility the villian could have had ace-king or ace-queen

the river brought a harmless 4 for a board of 10 7 2 9 4, at this point i put the villian on jacks, kings, aces, or the outside possibility they flopped a set because of the call on the turn to disguise the hand. i checked the river and the villian put me all in, i thought for awhile and then folded my queens thinking the villian had aces or kings. he then flipped up jacks and i felt sick lol
help me out and let me know what u think

    thanx, gambler11

re-raise preflop, he calls. Bet flop, he raises, push all in, he calls, jack on river, gg.

As played, I fold the river too, probably thinking he has two pair or a straight rather than AA or KK though.
Could god microwave a burrito so hot, that he himself could not eat it?

    good fold on river.

I would do this: reraise preflop.
If you chosse tocall from the blind, I would also suggest chekraisel ike you did. but push it up to lik 11$, not 7$

you cant call 50$ all in on that river.

also i dont understand why you read him to be strong when he calls your chek raise on flop. that could have been a standard cbet from him (with like anything) and then he makes a marginal call b/c its almost like a min. raise and he hass good odds for whatever he has.

seemes like you are too tight/easy to bluff.
I get more ass than a toilet seat. All shapes/colors/sizes.

    Definite reraise preflop.

However dont be affected by results. If you think he had to have either AA/KK/JJ or a set here and he happened to have the only one hand of those you beat folding will still be the correct play long term.

E.g for every 1 time he has JJ, another 3-4 times he has a hand that beats you.
