    Default Someone Help Me...What Do I Do In This Situation?

    I am dealt on the BB. MP1 minraises and there are like 4 callers after him. I reraise to .75 (pot is like .95 or something). Everyone folds but one.


    Board comes .

    Action is on me. I am OOP. What do I do here?

    Are you drunk?

    He is heads up on flop. He technically does have 2 pair and he's only losing to a Queen whilst getting action from any other Ace/maybe any pocket pair depending on opponent.

    I completely missed that this was HU. Everyone in this office is completely incompetent this week and it's rubbing off.

    I'm guessing the pot is $2.30 on the flop and that the effective stacks are roughly $9 at the time? Does this guy like to smash the pot button? If not, I wouldn't be scared of the risk of giving a free card at the reward of him using the noose you hand him. I'd still rather bet $1.60 on the flop. If he calls, that puts $5.50 in the pot with your stack a bit over $7 and you commit your stack with any bet but betting $3.50 on the turn gets called by worse hands and it's enough to not get bluffed off the best hand. Then, check/call the river. If he has a Queen, he'll push the flop or turn, not wait for the river. When you're on a site with a pot button, I'm not a big fan of checking the flop or turn.
