    Default O8b starting hand AA87ss

Ok, how do you play this hand in Omaha h/l split?

Does the looseness or tightness of the game affect how you play it?

say you decied to play, and the flop comes with two lows and two of your suit? How do you process?

I limp with this hand, unless I'm in late position and against 0 or 1 loose player then I'll raise with it.

Do you think it gains value or loses value against say 5-7 opponents? What do you want to see on the flop in a loose game?

I have been folding these hand (although I would call if it were DS). Seems like I always end up against a low free wheeling to beat me, I usually want a kicker 5 or less to play it.

It's not bad to fold it.

In my opinion it gains value with more opponents, all your draws are nut draws, if you hit a set you have top set, ditto for nut flushes, and even though it is a high hand there will probably be a low when you hit so your likely playing for 1/2 the pot.

obviously a flop you want is A99 or such or 3 to your suit.

I would call a bet in a multiway pot on a flop of 56X with 2 of my suit or A48 or similar all low Axx flops where a straight isn't too likely.

in a 2 or 3 way pot I'd just fold and move on, this is a secondary reason I don't like raising, you just inflate your pot odds.

At the microlimits I simply call with this hand unless its one of those rare occasions that I'm sitting in late position and none/one is all that's gotten involved in the action thus far. If that happens I'll raise to try and isolate...although its hard with this exact hand for me to say if you want callers or not.

Folding it early definitely isn't a bad option, but if you think a single bet will see you the flop then I'll toss in my bet and see what the flop gods give to me. If the game has been raise-happy though, I'm not interested in paying 2-4 bets with this.

if it wasnt hilo id suggest raising it as much as possible... but since its hilo the fact that u only have one shot at a horrible low makes this hand only one-way, and therefore not as good
