    Default AK > JJ ???

I noticed in the long term, AK offsuit wins slightly more than JJ.

Is that a leak in my game? JJ certainly is better against a random hand, but probably slightly weaker against the top range of hands (e.g. AQ+,TT+)

Is this a statistic or just something that you feel is happening? Problem with this theory is that JJ has more decent hands dominated than AK does. AK dominates only AQ, which I think that people lay down more often for all their chips than TT, 99 or even 88. Although JJ is dominated by one more hand than AK, the fact that it is a slight favorite against AK, AQ would still leave it with better EV than AK, IMO.

It depends how you play the hands.

I'm not saying Dafish plays this way but if you never lay down JJ as an overpair it can cost you alot to AA/KK/QQ + 2pair/trips.

Whereas with AK if you flop the A only AA of the premium hands beat you and with K only AA/KK beat you. If you miss a pair it is easy to get away from cheaply.

Statistic. It's my entire poker (tournament) life, 120k hands

That's basically what I meant with underdog against the best hands. However this is tournament, not cash game hands, so I'm not sure if I'm playing it too cautiously or too aggressively.

I thought you were just talking about it from a statistical point of view (which hand will win more). From a playing point of view AK is a better hand to play very aggressively PF than JJ, as you are mostly only a slight underdog or a big favorite.
