played my first rebuy today. its was pretty cool.

First hand i have AK suited someone pushes so i call....2 other people do to. They have K8, 77, AA, and something else i forget.

So i rebuy my first hand lol. The rest of the time i played decently tight. Flopped the nut and get paid off by 4 people .

After that i just didnt really see anything and come the first break i only had 5,000. With an avg of 10,000 i figured it was pretty much a waist to add on so i didnt. Picked up a few chips here and there but the avg got around 16K when i had 6-7K. Picked up AK suited again. Guy UTG open pushes for jsut about what i have, so i call. He has 10's. another caller has AQ

Oh well. got around 1000th out of 2600

Was fun and only cost me $6.30

I moved this into a new thread to get some thoughts.

First off, you should be prepared double buy-in+add-on, so every $3r should cost you at least $9.30 unless you went on a monster run in the first hour. You're gonna get unlucky and I'm a rebuy maniac that usually drops 7-15BI's in the $3 and $5r's which I seriously need to work on because I don't have anywhere near the expectation on Stars that I did back when I pwnd UB and Party rebuys a couple of years ago.

230 people left on my UB one.

Flop 2 pair with the BB special.

Guy bets 2K, i push all in for another 5. He calls me with a gutshot (and no FD alex) and hits the river.

I dont understand these people

I'm about to play the $3 rebuy. Never played one before, we'll see how it goes.
