Default TD is gold on UB

Havent made my way over to the games on stars yet but ive been playing triple draw on UB for awhile now. There is some good advice on the game in Super System 2 if you know anyone who has it, Daniel Neagreanu wrote a good chapter on it.

To boil it down. Position is hugely important in this game, almost more so then in holdem. Mostly this is because you get to decide how many cards you will draw after the other players. This can make it difficult on him when he is trying to decide to stand or draw. You on the other hand can see what he does first.

On the first try to only play 1 card draws to 7's and 8's. Play 2 card draws to 7's and avoid the rest unless you are a blind. If you must draw 3-4 (like from the big blind for free) only keep cards under 8.

On the last draw a made 9 is a favorite over any drawing hand and a 10 is a favorite over any two card draw. An 8 is a favorite against 2 players drawing one also.

There is no point slow playing in this game, so play made hand and strong draws as aggressively as possible.

    Hope this helps,

The key is to have a 7-2 and another wheel card (3,4,5) or 234, 235. a pat 8 is a pretty strong hand as is a 4 card 8-5 hand, as well as a 4 card 7-2 hand (such as 7642).

If you have a 4 card 7-5-3-2 type hand you should be capping as well as any made 7.

Decent hands playable for 1 bet or to raise with if it will trim the field to 1 or 2 calling stations: 3 card 7-6-2 and 3 card 8-5-3, 8-4-3, 8-5-2, 8-4-2, 8-3-2.

I'll play a 7-2 from the button for 1 bet or the defend my blind with it.
