Default My 100 Sng Conquest

I want to see if i am actually profitable in the "medium" run.

So im taking $24 and setting it aside to run 100 $2.40 SNG's (10 initial BI's). Very cheap, but i just want to see the resutls, not looking to actually make that much money.

This is more just for me to keep my progress and be able to go back and see what happened in each, but feel free to follow along.

Starting BR- $24
Games played - 25
Current BR - $50.60

Places
1st - 8
2nd - 2
3rd - 1
4th - 9th - 13

Im gonna try to do it all in a week

Good luck, man.

I did something similar when I decided to learn turbos. I just said I wasn't gonna lose more than $65 learning, so that stopped me from getting adventurous and trying a $114 iif I went on a run. It also provided some consistency to where I'd say, if I lost at that rate in micros, I'm never playing an SnG again.

I used QuattroPro to track myself (Corel's equivalent of Xcel) and in 100, I had a 26% ROI (+$169) and I know I was playing BAD at a lot of the times. So if you play well in those $2.40s, a 30-35% ROI isn't inconceivable over the span of 100 SnG's. That's a profit of $75-$85 and 100 can be played in a couple of weeks. I'd hold-off on multi-tabling until you got up to $50, though because if you're just not playing well, donkin' off in 5 or 6 has you in desparation.

And 100 SnG's isn't a medium run, it's still short considering that they are a bit of grind. I know some kids who play 4-6 at a time for about 6 hours a day to profit on their 5-8% ROIs

How many SnG's do you play monthly?
I think poker god hates you. So painful.

ehhhh

this is going on hold.

For once i think i am going to make a smart decision and stop playing on AP for atleast a few days. When i run this bad on a site i need a break from it or i just tilt whenever i go back. It'll be all stars for the next few days in which is actually nice to me

Am I the only one amused that he's keeping track on where he busts out of the money. I used a letter scale- F=1st S=2nd T=3rd G=4th-9th. "G" stands for "gay."

I saw this thread and thought - hmmmmmmm might try this.

So I am taking half of my crappy BR to play 1000 SnG's on FTP the $1+.25 variety and am going to track the way I play and positions I come.......hopefully when Poker Office gets there act in gear I can combine the stats I take with some proper hand analysis (me + manual stat taking = ROFL) I can tighten up my game even more.

So far

Starting BR- $28.00
Games played - 7
Current BR - $32.75

Places
1st - 3
2nd -
3rd -
4th - 9th - 4

Just playing single table stuff atm - when/if I get to triple my original BR (approx 85) then I am going to two table it and so on and so forth (ie more than two if I can at the very least double it again).

I see this as a hard slog - as I am up about 4 dollars in seven SnG's, but also a valuable to manage my roll properly and adjust my game.

Any tips, to help me in my quest would be very much appreciated........oh and I will be following through with this 1000 SnG's at $1. If that goes I am thinking I will move up and do similar at the next level and so on and so forth. Does that sound right? Or too conservative??
