    Default Slow play here?

    Party Table

    ** Dealing down cards **
    Dealt to beavis69 [ Kc Kh ]
    sbu97 folds.
    goodfriarx folds.
    beavis69 raises [$1].
    x__Euclid__x folds.
    kyle3003 folds.
    ericjb folds.
    grayskwrl folds.
    joeetrib folds.
    clive6969 calls [$0.75].
    rAvEn447 calls [$0.5].
    ** Dealing Flop ** [ 5s, 7h, Kd ]
    clive6969 checks.
    rAvEn447 bets [$0.5].

Do you just call and wait for the turn, or maximize the money now? I figured the blinds could have anything. From 86 to two pair or a set.

I'd slowplay here and see what the turn offers before putting the question to anyone still involved in the action. The off chance that a blind might have 4-6 or 6-8 and catch their straight on the turn is simply one of those occupational hazards associated with being a poker player.

The straight is really the only thing that kills you if you give another card here, so I say flat call, give the card and hope it helps one/both enough to want to stay in the action at the higher streets. If you raise here you might lose everyone, and this looks more like a situation where you want to encourage people to stay in for the time being.

Raise if the table is aggresive-loose. Otherwise slowplay

Bonch, that is my problem, this table was bi-polar, from maniac to passive and back.

If these guys would bet any K, I'd flat call, make it look like you rlooking for an ace, or don't want to release your QQ. Especially if hes known to bet again aggressively on the turn. If you get another caller, cold call the turn too. Try to exract the extra bet from him on the turn too. Then raise it on the river, either way. But if folds on the flop, leaving it HU, raise on the turn, there are no more bets to be extracted.

If the turn brings a draw card, like a 468, or a suit, Raise on the turn. There is a straight draw out there, one card can beat you, but it so unlikely of a hand given the PF action (46s, 68s from the BB to a raise? meh probably not). But protect your hand if the draw does hit.
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
